Rachel Hore is an Australia-based singer and choir leader, who leads singing workshops for groups, schools, festivals, and community events throughout Australia and internationally.

This website promotes those and related activities. Visitors/users can subscribe to Rachel’s Mailing List and can book/register and pay for activities.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it:

We collect, use and store personal data as a result of your visit and/or purchases/bookings on our site.  We only collect personal data in the ways listed below.

1. Mailing List subscription form
The information gathered by this form is used only for the purposes of creating a Mailing List that is used to communicate directly with the person submitting the form about the activities of Rachel Hore and related activities. The information is retained and used only for those purposes. The information is not used or transferred to create mailing lists for use in mass marketing. The data is held securely online by Jotform, Mailchimp and Dropbox. Jotform, Mailchimp and Dropbox are all GDPR compliant.

2. Booking/Registration forms
The information gathered by these forms are used only for the purposes of communicating directly with the person submitting the form, or for the purposes of administrating the particular event involved. The information is retained and used only for those purposes. The information is not used or transferred to create mailing lists for use in mass marketing. The data is held securely online by Jotform, Mailchimp and Dropbox. Jotform, Mailchimp and Dropbox are all GDPR compliant.

3. Analytics
We use Google Analytics to better understand the way people use the site. Google collects and stores that data, including IP addresses for us. This information is used by Google for geo location and no other information is retained. It is possible to use IP addresses for data matching to gather more detailed information about site visitors, but we don’t do that. Google complies with the GDPR legislation.

Embedded content from other websites:

Content on this site may include embedded content (eg videos, images, articles, etc). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other websites. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Data storage:

Data is held securely online by Google (Analytics), Jotform (Mailing List subscription data and Booking/Registration form data), Mailchimp (Mailing List subscription data and other Mailing List data) and Dropbox (Mailing List data). Google, Jotform, Mailchimp and Dropbox are all GDPR compliant.

Who we share your data with and how long we retain it:

Mailing List subscription data is not shared. Information given to us when subscribing to the mailing list is held until the person unsubscribes from the mailing list or otherwise requests to be removed.  Mailing List subscribers are given an option to unsubscribe in every communication that is received.

Booking/Registration form data is retained for 5 years.  The data may be shared with service providers (eg, accommodation, transport providers etc) in connection with administering the particular event. The names and emails addresses of event registrants are also added to the subscription Mailing List – see above.

Google analytic data is held for 26 months then deleted.

What rights you have over your data:

You can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

How we protect your data:

No data is held on this site. Mailing List subscription data and Booking/Registration form data are held securely online by Jotform and Mailchimp.  Analytic information is stored by Google. Mailing list files created from Mailing List subscription data and Booking/Registration form submissions are also held securely in Dropbox and Mailchimp.  Google, Jotform, Mailchimp and Dropbox are all GDPR compliant.

Payments:

We accept payments through PayPal. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see the PayPal Privacy Policy for more details.
