FUTURE DATES TO BE ADVISED

Worimi Elders, Forster Neighbourhood Centre and Big Sing Community present Big Sing by the Sea, a musical Worimi cultural experience where Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people sing and learn together.

For early arrivals, on Friday afternoon, by popular demand, there will be a spectacular Worimi Cultural Cruise (bookings required).

Singing begins on Saturday, guided by Rachel Hore, OAM, founder of Big Sing in the Desert, and Sandra Kwa, Conductor of Wingsong and Baraya Wakulda choirs. We will sing familiar songs, learn new ones, including some in Worimi language, Gathang. All this while we form a new singing community!

Workshops will be on offer during the weekend led by Worimi locals.

Sunday is all about polishing our singing so that we can demonstrate our collective awesomeness to friends and family at an afternoon concert. Then over a cup of tea take the opportunity to view (and/or buy) artworks by local artists.

Big Sing by the Sea is a Big Sing Community supported event.
